Kongig is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone number, WhatsApp number, state, bank account details (creators only), profile photos, and portfolio links. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, orders placed, and messages sent within the platform. Payment information is processed by Paystack and we do not store card details.
We use your information to: operate and improve the platform; process payments and withdrawals; send order notifications and updates; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with Nigerian legal obligations; and send platform updates (you can opt out at any time).
We share information between Buyers and Creators only as necessary to complete orders (e.g., shipping address is revealed to Buyer after payment; WhatsApp number shown after payment confirmation). We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data with Paystack for payment processing and may disclose data if required by Nigerian law.
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All payments are secured by Paystack. Supabase row-level security ensures users can only access their own data. We regularly review our security practices.
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Order history is retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@kongig.com, subject to our legal retention obligations.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data. Contact us at privacy@kongig.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
