By accessing or using the Kongig platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. Kongig reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided via email or the Platform itself.
Kongig is a UGC (User Generated Content) marketplace that connects content creators ("Creators") with businesses and individuals ("Buyers") seeking authentic content. Kongig acts as an intermediary and escrow agent, facilitating transactions between Creators and Buyers.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Creators agree to: (a) provide accurate information about their skills and experience; (b) deliver content that matches the brief provided by the Buyer; (c) deliver content within the agreed timeframe; (d) ensure all content is original and does not infringe on any third-party rights; (e) maintain professional communication with Buyers through the Platform.
Buyers agree to: (a) provide clear and complete content briefs; (b) ship products promptly after payment confirmation; (c) review and respond to delivered content within 7 days; (d) only release payment when genuinely satisfied with the content; (e) not misuse the dispute process.
All payments are processed through Paystack and held in escrow until successful order completion. Kongig charges a 5% service fee to Buyers at checkout and a 10% commission to Creators upon successful completion. Payments are released to Creator wallets within 24 hours of Buyer approval. Wallet withdrawals are processed within 1-2 business days.
In the event of a dispute, either party may open a dispute through the order dashboard. Kongig's team will review the case and mediate within 48 hours. Kongig's decision in disputes is final. Refunds may be issued at Kongig's sole discretion. Abuse of the dispute system may result in account suspension.
Users must not: (a) attempt to conduct transactions outside the Platform; (b) use the Platform for illegal activities; (c) create fake reviews or ratings; (d) harass or abuse other users; (e) share personal contact information before payment is confirmed; (f) upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
Upon successful payment release, the Buyer receives a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the created content for their business purposes. The Creator retains copyright ownership but grants the Buyer usage rights. Creators must ensure all content is original and free of third-party IP violations.
Kongig reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, any pending wallet balances will be paid out to the Creator's bank account within 7 business days, subject to verification.
Kongig is not liable for the quality of content created, disputes between users, delays in delivery, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid to Kongig in the 3 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
